[0004] The idea of our invention came about while sitting at our dinner table eating, when I noticed our 1½ year old granddaughter enjoying watermelon and green beans. All of the juice from each piece of food that she picked up to eat was running down her arm and dripping on to her clothing and on to the chair. Her bib absorbed what was dripping off of her chin, but there was nothing there to absorb the drips that ran past her hand and down to her elbows, except for her clothing, or in some cases, ran down her stomach and then on to her diaper.
