An orange reactive dye and a process for its preparation

The application discloses an orange reactive dye and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the fine chemical field. The orange reactive dye is prepared by using m-phenylenediamine as a coupling component, and sequentially coupling two kinds of diazonium salts through a first coupling reaction, a second coupling reaction and a third coupling reaction. An additive M composed of sodium pyrophosphate, sodium hydrogen pyrophosphate, sodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium gluconate, an anionic surfactant and sodium carbonate is added in the diazotization stage, so that the material dispersibility and the reaction conversion rate are obviously improved, and the diazotization conversion rate can reach 98.7 % in one hour. The dye has bright orange color, the maximum absorption wavelength is red-shifted, the color is deeper, the color fixing rate and the build-up are better than those of a commercially available reactive orange 6R, and the light fastness, washing fastness, wet rubbing fastness and heat pressing fastness are obviously improved. The single-color use has good level dyeing property, and the compounding can improve the blackness. The preparation process is free of refining and wastewater and residue discharge, the product can be directly dried, is green, environment-friendly and low in cost, is suitable for dyeing and printing of cellulose fibers, protein fibers and synthetic fibers, and has ecological safety and industrial application value.
