Abstract

The invention discloses a recording and playback method for digital television programs and a system thereof, which can effectively prevent uncontrolled copy propagation of encrypted digital television programs. The technical proposal of the invention is that: the invention encrypts control words arranged with turbulence flow; the control words need to be decoded during the playback process and can not be played when copied, thereby TS stream files are effectively and safely protected. The invention also utilizes the prior resources intelligent card (ICC) sequence number and a set-top box (STB) sequence number for encryption and then being stored into a hard disc, and the sequence numbers are taken as external dependency relationships for playing streams, thereby the TS streams are guaranteed to only be able to play when the streams are matched and probability of stream propagation is effectively reduced. The invention is applied in the digital television program recording and playback field.
