Abstract

The invention relates to switchover from E-UTRAN to UTRAN / GERAN CS. The invention relates to a switch method of UE (user equipments) used for currently taking part in voice calling. Particularly, the invention relates to the switchover from (1) wireless based on grouping (such as LTE, E-UTRAN or WIMAN wireless), wherein, a voice service is provided through the wireless via VOIP and is controlled to (2) a wireless access network via a signaling based on a session initiation protocol (SIP), wherein, the voice service can only be provided via circuit switching (CS) domain (needing visited mobile services switching center (VMSC)), such as traditional 3GPP UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN) / GSM / EDGE Radio Access Network (GERAN) overlay. The invention discloses a MSC-S entity. The entity acts as a grouping core control node on Packet Switching network and acts as the anchor visited mobile services switching center (VMSC) for the switchover of the circuit switching (CS) network on the CS domain side, wherein, MSC-S is suited to prepare for switching with a new route of remote UE-B and the CS domain to the target traditional wireless overlay.
