Abstract

The invention discloses a message handling method applied to a data synchronization DS or device management DM session. The method comprises the following steps that a notification message transmitted by a session requesting party to request establishment of a session is received and session management information of the session is carried by the notification message; the session management information of the session in the notification message is acquired and the notification message is verified according to the session management information and then a reply message is generated according to the verified result; and the reply message is transmitted to the session requesting party. The invention also discloses a message handling system, a message handling terminal and a message handling server applied to the DS or DM session. By utilization of the message handling method, the message handling system, the message handling terminal and the message handling server, a DS or DM server can determine whether the notification message transmitted by the DS or DM server exists according to information returned to the terminal, so as to further process the notification message, and can avoid blind retransmission of the notification message under the condition that the DS or DM server does not receive the information of establishing session connection of a DS or DM terminal.
