7 results about "Over the Air" patented technology

Over the Air was an annual mobile technology-focused overnight hack day event held in London from 2008 to 2016. The two-day event would include practical and educational talks and a hacking competition. Sponsors of the event have included the BBC, Bluevia, Nokia, PayPal, and Vodafone. Some of the ideas developed at Over the Air have been turned into commercial services.

Planning over-the-air network synchronization topology with knowledge transfer

A computer-implemented method performed by a computing device to select a over the air network synchronization topology in a planned target network is provided. The method includes identifying first pairs of antenna reference points, ARPs, in a source network; generating a first representation of the first pairs of ARPs; and generating a second representation of second pairs of ARPs in the planned target network. The method further includes using a trained machine learning, ML, model including transferred knowledge of learned similarities to classify respective pairs as at least one of similar and dissimilar in the planned target network; and selecting a subset of the second pairs of ARPs based on an identification of a minimum number of ARPs classified as similar that meet a criteria. The selected subset defines the over the air network synchronization topology.

Branch Circuit Identification

A communications system is described providing the ability to intelligently deliver electrical power from a first power source or from a second power source to a branch circuit in a facility, such as a home. Communications between a Smart Load Center (SLC) controller and the appliances is provided via wireless signals sent over the air. Sequentially, each branch circuit is powered off while the SLC wirelessly sends a poll message to the appliances. The response messages to the poll message allow the SLC to identify to which branch circuit each appliance is connected. The signals over the air support the communications between the appliances and the SLC controller and may be part of a larger Internet-of-Things ecosystem dedicated to facilities automation services.

System and method for handling over-the-air event logs

Provided are a method, system, and device for handling event logs over the air. The method may include receiving, by a first handler object, a first log request to a first event log for a first event class, the first log request originating from a main logger object, wherein the first log request includes a first event object of the first event class and the first event log is stored in persistent storage and sending, by the handler object to a storage object, a first write request to write the first event object to the first event log, wherein upon receiving the first write request, the storage object is configured to serialize the first event object and write the serialized first event object to the first event log.

Methods for determining uplink scaling factor in over-the-air federated learning training rounds

A WTRU may receive over the air federated learning (OTA-FL) configuration information associated with a local AI / ML model at the WTRU. The WTRU may send feedback information. The WTRU may receive from the network model parameter reporting configuration. The model parameter reporting configuration may include an uplink scaling factor. The WTRU may determine one or more uplink pre-equalization factors for one or more resource elements associated with one or more model parameters associated with the local AI / ML model based on, for example, the uplink scaling factor. The WTRU may send to the network the one or more pre-equalized model parameters using the one or more associated resource elements of the local AI / ML model.

Mac layer TCI activation for multi-rx ue

A user equipment includes a first antenna panel; a second antenna panel; a set of one or more transceivers configured to transmit and receive over the air using at least one of the first antenna panel or the second antenna panel; and a processor. The processor is configured to receive at least one Medium Access Control (MAC) Control Element (CE) (MAC-CE) that triggers a dual Transmission Configuration Indicator (TCI) activation associated with the first and second antenna panels; decode the MAC-CE; for a predetermined period of time, use a current TCI to receive over the air using at least the first antenna panel or the second antenna panel; and after the predetermined period of time, switch to a dual TCI activated by the dual TCI activation, the dual TCI used by the UE to receive, over the air, using the first and second antenna panels.
