9 results about "MAC service data unit" patented technology

MAC service data unit (media access control service data unit, MSDU) is the service data unit that is received from the logical link control (LLC) sub-layer which lies above the media access control (MAC) sub-layer in a protocol stack. The LLC and MAC sub-layers are collectively referred to as the data link layer (DLL).

A communication method and apparatus

The application provides a communication method and device, and relates to the technical field of communication. In the method, an automatic repeat request mechanism is realized by a medium access control (MAC) entity, that is, a transmission status report of a MAC service data unit (SDU) is generated by the MAC entity of a data receiving end and is fed back to a data sending end, so that the data sending end realizes data retransmission according to the status report, thereby reducing the transmission delay of the status report and improving transmission efficiency.

Encrypting MAC header fields for WLAN privacy enhancement

Embodiments are disclosed for encrypting media access control (MAC) Header fields for Wireless LAN (WLAN) privacy enhancement. For example, a transceiver of a station (STA) or an access point (AP) can set a real time Media Access Control (MAC) header bit in a payload of an aggregated MAC Protocol Data Unit (A-MPDU) subframe to an actual value of a power management (PM) field of a MAC header of the A-MPDU subframe. The transceiver can encrypt the payload, set the PM field to an over the air (OTA) PM value, and transmit the A-MPDU subframe over the air. The OTA PM value can include all zeros, a predetermined value, or a randomized value The transceiver can also set static MAC header bits in the payload of the A-MPDU subframe to corresponding actual values of an aggregated MAC service data unit (A-MSDU) present field of the A-MPDU subframe.

Communication method and user device

PCT designated stageWO2026034567A1Wireless communicationMultiplexingEngineering
This communication method, which is executed by a user device in a mobile communication system that supports L1 / L2 Triggered Mobility (LTM), comprises: evaluating whether an L1 measurement result obtained by means of a radio quality measurement in layer 1 (L1) satisfies an L1 event condition; upon evaluating that the L1 measurement result satisfies the L1 event condition, generating an L1 measurement report MAC CE, which is a medium access control control element (MAC CE) including the L1 measurement result, and to which a logical channel identifier (LCID) is assigned; and multiplexing, in a MAC layer, a MAC service data unit (SDU) and the MAC CE into a MAC protocol data unit (PDU) in accordance with the priority of the corresponding logical channel. The user device applies a predetermined fixed priority or a priority designated from a network node as the priority for the L1 measurement report MAC CE.

Method and apparatus for transmitting information related to desired data amount during data burst transmission in wireless communication system

The present disclosure relates to a method of performing an operation for a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: starting a data burst period; receiving an uplink (UL) grant; generating a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) including at least one media access control (MAC) service data unit (SDU) based on the uplink grant, where the MAC PDU includes zero buffer size (BS) information and information indicating that a data burst period is ongoing based on the absence of the SDU to be transmitted and based on the data burst period being considered ongoing; and transmitting the MAC PDU on the UL grant.

Method and device for relay transmission

A first node transmits a first physical-layer signaling and a first Medium Access Control (MAC) Protocol Data Unit (PDU) via an air interface. The first MAC PDU comprises a first MAC header and a first MAC Service Data Unit (SDU). The first node monitors a first Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest Acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) on each channel in a first channel set, and the first HARQ-ACK indicates whether the first MAC PDU is correctly decoded. The first physical-layer signaling comprises scheduling information of the first MAC PDU. The first channel set comprises Q channel(s), Q being a non-negative integer. The condition of whether a number of continuous HARQ DTXs reaches a first threshold is used to determine Q. The first MAC SDU is transmitted through a first radio bearer, and the first radio bearer is unrelated to whether the number of the continuous HARQ DTXs reaches the first threshold.
