AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented method involves creating small particles called phytoalexins that attach themselves onto plants or trees from their roots through wax glands on tree branches. These tiny particles help keep harmful insects away from crops without causing damage they were previously infested with. They work well even at night because they cannot catch fireflies but stay there longer if needed. Additionally, this process helps prevent diseases like blacklegging caused by bacteria and fungi spread throughout our country's rainfores.

Problems solved by technology

This patented describes different ways how plants produce substances known collectively as olives, including carboxilanes found naturally throughout China. These compounds help reduce damage caused by harmful organisms during fires.

Embodiment 1

[0025] The following experimental examples and blank control experimental examples were used to carry out comparative experiments.

[0026] Set up 8 experimental examples and 1 blank control experimental example. The plant-derived attractants of 8 experimental examples were 7 kinds of monoterpene attractants and 1 kind of mixed terpene attractants. The seven monoterpenes are R-(+)-α-pinene, S-(-)-α-pinene, S-(-)-β-pinene, S-(+)-3-pinene, S-(+)-limonene, S-(-)-limonene and myrcene. One mixed terpene is obtained by mixing the above seven monoterpenes according to the following formula: R-(+)-α-pinene, S-(-)-α-pinene, S-(-)-β-pinene, Volume of S-(+)-3-carene, S-(+)-limonene, S-(-)-limonene, myrcene=30:15:10:30:5:1:5. The blank control experiment example is not to arrange any attractant on the lund-I type trap. The data of various monoterpene samples are shown in Table 1.

Abstract

The invention provides application of terpene as an acantholyda posticalis attractant and the acantholyda posticalis attractant. One or more of R-(+)-alpha-pinene, S-(-)-alpha-pinene, S-(-)-beta-pinene, S-(+)-3-carene, S-(+)-limonene, S-(-)-limonene and myrcene is used as the acantholyda posticalis attractant. The mixed terpene attractant consists of the R-(+)-alpha-pinene, the S-(-)-alpha-pinene, the S-(-)-beta-pinene, the S-(+)-3-carene, the S-(+)-limonene, the S-(-)-limonene and the myrcene in a volume ratio of 10-60:5-45:3-30:10-60:2-15:0.3-3:2-15, and more preferably 30:15:10:30:5:1:5. The plant source attractant of a host volatile matter is used for attracting a large amount of acantholyda posticalis, so that the acantholyda posticalis are gathered and fixed by an adhesive paper board and then cleared and pests are controlled and killed; and the acantholyda posticalis attractant has the advantages of low cost, high efficiency, safety to people and livestock, capable of preventing medicament resistance of the pests and the like, and is an effective novel means of preventing and controlling the acantholyda posticalis and very suitable for the population monitoring and entrapment prevention and control of the acantholyda posticalis.
