Problems solved by technology

[0008] 1. For the pseudowires on the edge nodes, the relationship between each other cannot be reflected. These pseudowires have a common source node and destination node, and will be added to the same virtual switching instance at the core node, which may lead to differences from the original plan. inconsistent
[0009] 2. It is difficult to expand multiple services from one service to the same edge node on the network management
And these parameters: virtual switching instance number, split horizon group number, source node number, and destination node number are difficult for network management to verify and constrain parameters, and it is easy to configure errors and cannot be verified.
[0010] 3. If dual-homing protection is used, it needs to be configured according to the pseudo-wire level one by one, and the configuration parameters are complicated
[0011] 4. The network management interface is difficult to handle. There is one virtual switching instance on each core node, but multiple on the edge nodes.
[0012] 5. User operation is very inconvenient

Embodiment Construction

[0044] Embodiments of the present invention are described in further detail below in conjunction with accompanying drawings:

[0045] A hierarchical virtual network based on a tree-shaped virtual local area network, including a core network point and an edge node, and a virtual switching instance exists on the edge node, and the virtual switching instance has at least one user logic interface and at least one pseudowire.

[0046] The user logic interface is in one-to-one correspondence with the pseudowire.

[0047] The said pseudowires all go to the same virtual switching instance on the same core node.

[0048] The pseudowires exist in the same split horizon group in the same virtual switch instance on the core node.

[0049] The same virtual switching instance on the core node follows the split horizon attribute defined by IETF RFC 4762 VPLS using LDP signaling: hub and spoke, and follows the center (spoke) for data in the same split horizon group. The hub) mode does not f...

Abstract

The invention relates to a layering virtual network based on a tree virtual local area network (VLAN). The layering virtual network comprises a core website and an edge node, wherein the edge node is provided with a virtual switching instance which is provided with at least more than one user logic interface and at least more than one pseudowire. The invention also provides a configuration method of the layering virtual network based on the tree VLAN, comprising the following steps: (1) establishing a fully-meshed virtual special switching instance on a core node; (2) establishing a tree VLAN instance on the edge node; and (3) relating the tree VLAN instance with the core node. The invention has the beneficial effects that operation is simple and visual; the configurations can be collocated in advance in accordance with a plan; the problem that configuration parameters are input wrongly does not occur; addition / cancellation of the services is realized by only adding / cancelling a user logic port in the tree VLAN; and other related function expansion can be easily realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an MPLS layered virtual local area network of communication equipment and a configuration method thereof, more specifically, to a layered virtual local area network based on a tree-shaped virtual local area network and a configuration method thereof. Background technique [0002] Currently, the common configuration methods in hierarchical virtual switching instances of MPLS communication equipment are as follows: [0003] 1) Configure full-mesh virtual switching instances between core nodes; [0004] 2) On the edge node, configure the point-to-point pseudo-wire service; [0005] 3) The point-to-point pseudowire service will be added to the core node as a logical interface of the virtual switching instance. Configure the specified split horizon group number; [0006] 4) If the edge node has multiple services joining the virtual switching instance, then repeat steps 2 and 3. [0007] Existing method has following shortcoming:...
