The driving mechanism comprises a rotating wheel and a driver. The rotary shaft of the clamping chuck is connected to the rotating wheel. The driver can drive the rotating wheel to rotate so that the clamping chuck is driven to rotate. The automatic restoration device comprises a photoelectric sensor, a controller, and a detecting plate disposed at the periphery of the rotating wheel. The detecting plate is provided with a detection mechanism capable of being detected by the photoelectric sensor. The photoelectric sensor is disposed at the bottom of the workbench and is connected to the controller. The controller is connected to the driver. Compared with the prior art, through the photoelectric sensor and the controller, the stiffness tester can allow the clamping chuck to be automatically adjusted to the initial position, namely, a position where the plane of a sample clamped by the clamping chuck is perpendicularly intersected with the knife edge of the pressure detection knife.
