Problems solved by technology

This strategy is likely to cause continuous loss of B frames, resulting in unsmooth video playback; in addition, if the video does not have B frames, frames cannot be dropped, which will cause the video to be seriously out of sync

[0010] Further set forth the present invention below in conjunction with accompanying drawing:

[0011] The figure shows the video frame dropping process of the present invention. Set the three-level threshold for frame loss, N1 is 180, N2 is 360, N3 is 700, and the unit is milliseconds. When the decoding unit obtains the data to be decoded, it must first obtain the current video delay state, that is, obtain the current video output delay value D from the output unit. Then get the current frame loss status, that is, whether the previous frame was lost or not. At this time, the three-level threshold frame loss strategy described in the present invention is used to determine whether the current frame should be discarded. If the current frame is discarded, first set the current state as a lost frame, and then continue to read data to carry out the above process. If there is no frame loss, after the video is decoded and sent to the output terminal, the video frame is output aft...

Abstract

A video framedropping strategy based on a grading mechanism is disclosed. A technology field relates to the multimedia audio and video playing field. A video framedropping strategy during an audio and video synchronization process is disclosed. A purpose of the invention is to provide a framedropping strategy which preferentially guarantee the audio and video synchronization and aims at smoothly and fluently playing the video. A scheme comprises the following steps: according to human sense sensitivity, setting three level thresholds; during playing the video, assuming a time stamp of a current video output frame to be T, a synchronous clock to be S and then acquiring that video output time delay D=T-S; after acquiring the time delay D from a video output terminal, notifying a video decoder; determining whether the frame is dropped or not when a video decoding unit decodes next frame data. By using a one level, a two level and a three level threshold of the invention, smooth and synchronous playing of the video can be ensured. It is more reasonable to determine a size of the current video time delay on the video output terminal and more accurate to determine whether the next frame is dropped.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of multimedia audio and video playback, in particular to a video frame loss strategy in the audio and video synchronization process. Background technique [0002] When the user clicks to play a video file, the multimedia playback system first reads the audio and video data from the video file, and then sends it to the decoder for decoding. The audio content and video content output by decoding will be sent to the audio through the output module through synchronization measures. Device output, video device display, and finally complete the entire playback process. [0003] When the video decoding efficiency cannot meet the video output frame rate requirements, the video display content will lag behind the audio output. If no processing is done, the audio and video cannot be output synchronously. Usually, according to the existence of reference frames (I frames), forward predictive coding frames (P frames), and bidirec...
