According to an analysis filter bank of the even-length two-channel linear phasewaveletfilter bank, a two-input and two-output filter module consists of filters T0(z<2>), L1(z<2>), T1(z<2>) and L0(z<2>); filters (1+z<-1>) and (1-z<-1>) are arranged between the input end [1] of the filter module and the input end [25] of the wavelet filter bank as well as between the input end [2] of the filter module and the input end [25] of the wavelet filterbank; according to a comprehensive filter bank, a two-input and two-output filter module consists of filters T1(z<2>),-L1(z<2>), T0(z<2>) and -L0(z<2>); and filters (1+z<-1>) and (-1+z<-1>) are arranged between the output end [13] of the filter module and the output end [26] of the wavelet filter bank as well as between the output end [14] of the filter module and the output end [26] of the wavelet filter bank. The running rate of the wavelet filter bank approximates to that of a wavelet filter bank with a multi-phase structure, but the multiplying operation frequency is reduced by nearly a half; and the shortcoming that the multi-phase filter generally has no linear phase is overcome.
