The relationships of client sides of which the name cards are exchanged by a server are bound by a login ID (identity); and after one party updates the name card, the server sends the updating message to other client sides of which the name cards are exchanged according to the binding relationship. The automatic updating method for an electronic name card, a server and a system provide an information communication channel for the name cards. When the name card of the user is changed, a user who exchanges the name card with the user can be automatically notified and updated so as to achieve the purpose of automatically updating the name card.
