Abstract

The invention discloses a target clothing image extraction method aiming at shopping image search. The target clothing image extraction method aiming at the shopping image search is used for extracting a main target clothing image in shopping images containing one single figure and a plurality of figures. According to the method, human-face positions of the figures are considered, skin colors and human-face detection are used as auxiliary information to help positioning clothing areas, a statistical probability model is used for analyzing clothing and image backgrounds, and simultaneously image spatial information is considered so as to enable the model to be accurate. The target clothing image extraction method is suitable for shopping images containing one single figure (model), is also suitable for shopping images containing a plurality of figures (models), and can extract clothing goods on the bodies of figures (models) accurately.
