The externally-applied drug comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 0.5-5 parts of sulfur, 0.5-5 parts of ginger juice, 0.5-5 parts of rhizoma acori graminei, 1-5 parts of Evodia rutaecarpa and 1-5 parts of fructus alpiniae oxyphyllae. The preparation method comprises the steps of: respectively grinding the sulfur, the rhizoma acori graminei, the Evodia rutaecarpa and the fructus alpiniae oxyphyllae into powder, and enabling the powder to pass through a 60-100 sieve; uniformly mixing the powdered sulfur, rhizoma acori graminei, Evodia rutaecarpa and fructus alpiniae oxyphyllae; and proportioning the uniformly mixed powder into paste by the ginger juice, so as to obtain the externally-applied drug.
