The method includes that the calling side and the called side GMSCe determine the calling and called party based on the voice coding capability list supported by the calling user, the voice coding capability supported by the called user, and the coding capability mapping relationship between the calling side and the called side. The speech coding methods supported by both the calling party and the called party are notified to the GMGW on the side where the GMSCe performs the coding type conversion, and the pair is sent to the other side according to the speech coding methods supported by both the calling party and the called party. The voice signal is converted to the voice coding method supported by the other side. The present disclosure can realize intercommunication of broadband voice services between different systems.
