Abstract

The light source modulating device is transparent-board-shaped and comprises a central block and at least one flank block. The central block is provided with a central light inlet surface and a central light outlet surface which oppose each other. At least one flank block is connected with the central light inlet surface and at least one side at ends of the central light outlet surface; wherein the flank block is panel-shaped and is provided with a wide end and a narrow end. The end surface of the wide end is formed in a manner that a flank light outlet surface extends out of the central light outlet surface. The narrow end projects from the central light outlet surface and is provided with a flank light inlet surface which is connected with the end of the central light inlet surface at inside part that faces the central light inlet surface; wherein the flank block is provided with a reflecting surface which extends from the narrow end to the wide end at the side that opposes the central block. The distance between the reflecting surface and the central block enlarges when the distance between the reflecting surface and the wide end enlarges. The invention further provides a light source device with the light source modulating device, and a backlight module.
