According to the general water disaster loss model building method, due to the fact that the general water disaster loss function with the physical mechanism and a corresponding parameter system of the function are built, a simple and formal water disaster loss calculation method is formed, the water disaster loss calculation procedure is simplified, and the result is more accurate and more credible. Corresponding parameters in the function can be used and popularized in the area with similar features or when future disaster losses are predicted and extension in area and update in time are achieved.
