The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing the water-borne epoxy resin; preparing the sand material; blending colors; curing; and obtaining a finished product. The preparation method disclosed by the invention is characterized in that the self-made water-borne epoxy resin is used as the adhesive, and the artificial colored sand is prepared by using the normal temperature curing agent T-31. The colored sand is strong in wear resistance and acid and base resistance, pure in color and easy for color blending and suitable for preparing wide building and ornament materials and the like.
