Abstract

The invention discloses a multifunctional secondary cable tester comprising a test host computer and a test slave computer. The test host computer comprises a high voltage generator, a pulse generator and a test analyzer. One end of the high voltage generator is connected with a power supply with test voltage of AC500V, and the other end is connected with the interface of the test host computer. One end, which is arranged in the internal part of the test host computer, of the pulse generator is connected with the high voltage generator, and the other is connected with one segment of a secondary cable. The test slave computer is connected with the test host computer via the port of the slave computer and connected with the other end of the secondary cable via another interface of the test host computer. The test analyzer receives a pulse signal generated by the pulse generator and analyzes and processes the pulse signal. The tester is complete in function, and has functions of wire mark checking, wire core open circuit and short circuit detection and insulation testing.
