Abstract

The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine smoking cessation paste being prepared from following raw materials comprising, by weight, 5-25 parts of white ginseng, 15-30 parts of herba houttuyniae, 1-3 parts of clove, 5-15 parts of polygala tenuifolia, 5-15 parts of mllolbophora caliginosa dry worm body and 2-5 parts of cinnamon. The raw materials are dried and are crushed and sieved. A black plaster blank with usage amount being 5 times as that of the raw materials is heated and melted and then is mixed with the crushed raw materials to obtain the paste. A paste tube is filled with the paste. The smoking cessation paste is taken for two times per month, or is taken in a manner that a proper amount of the paste is coated at two sides of ala nasi with a cotton swab when a user is suffered from smoking addiction (when the smoking addiction is serious, the smoking cessation paste can be taken by being coated on nostril or being coated on tongue tip in a little amount). The smoking cessation paste is convenient to use, is low in cost, is good in curative effect and can be used for replacing a conventional smoking cessation drug.
