Abstract

The invention relates to a partitioning device (1) for an interior space of a commercial vehicle including a driver's seat (3) having a seat portion (13), said device (1) being configured to be placed alternatively in two positions: a first position to separate said interior space into a passenger compartment for transporting at least one user and a main loading space, and a second position for additionally partitioning the passenger compartment allowing a secondary loading space communicating with the main loading space to be defined, the partitioning device (1) including a fixed portion (5) and a moveable portion consisting of two tiered independent partitions, namely a lower partition (15) and an upper partition (17). The two partitions (15; 17) can preferably be folded in mutually perpendicular directions.
