Abstract

A plurality of nodes on a serial bus are connected by means of a clock line and a pulse signal line and a delay circuit is arranged between the two adjacent nodes; and an initial node simultaneously sends signals on the clock line and the pulse signal line, and the other nodes calculate an address of each of the two signals according to a time difference of the two received signals. A CPU of the each node do not participate in an address allocation process of the other nodes, and therefore, even if a node on the serial bus fails or is not online, the address allocation of the other nodes will not be influenced.
