Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for setting interactive information of an interactive television system, and aims to attract a user to participate in watching and interactions of a television-played video by referring to functions of a mobile terminal. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a category of a television program; and configuring the interactive information for the television program according to the category of the television program. According to the method and the device, the interactive information is determined by acquisition of the category of the television program and an amount of pre-configured interactive information, and display formats and decorative images of interactive information of different properties are pre-designed for the interactive information, so that the interactive information is generated more rapidly, and a higher utilization ratio is achieved. Audience of the television program can participate in interactions of the television program during playing of the video on a television by using a user terminal through the interactive information; the user is attracted to participate in the watching and interactions of the television-played video; an audience rating of the television program is increased; and the participation interactivity and visual experience of the user are enhanced.
