Abstract

The method includes the steps that an upper edentulous jaw plaster model and a lower edentulous jaw plaster model are scanned to obtain first data; at the small mouth opening position, the face, the upper-jaw alveolar-ridge front tooth region and the lower-jaw alveolar-ridge front tooth region are scanned to obtain second data; the first data are matched with the second data, and data of the portion, above the apex nasi, of the face and the data of the upper-jaw model are grouped to obtain third data; data of the chin and data of the lower-jaw model are grouped to obtain fourth data; at the rest jaw position, the face is scanned to obtain fifth data; the third data and the fourth data are matched with the fifth data; lower-lip frenum root positions of the lower edentulous jaw model in the fourth data are extracted, and the lower-lip frenum root positions and the lower edentulous jaw model are grouped to obtain sixth data; in the third data, mapping points of double-side processus condyloideus on the skin of the face are interactively extracted, and the sixth data are rotated upwards by 3 mm with the connecting line of the mapping points as a rotating axis; upper-lower-edentulous jaw alveolar ridge data of the intercuspal positions are obtained.
