The bootstrap program is used for loading and operating the board support package. The board support package comprises an operating system and a device driver. The application program is operated on top of the board support package and is used for providing various services that are visible to users. The board support package and the application program are packaged together to form a system image. At least two sets of system images are arranged in the system. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the system comprises two sets of images. In this way, no matter what happens to disable the updating of the system, a set of normal software is still available for startup. Therefore, the updating operation can be repeated till the updating process is successfully completed.
