The communication terminal and a server with a database are in communication connection; and multiple pictures having corresponding relationships and user information are stored in the database. The method comprises the following steps: the pictures in the communication terminal are uploaded to the server; and the server recognizes the received pictures to obtain facial feature information, performs similarity matching of the obtained facial feature information with facial feature information of the pictures in the database, and feeds back the matching information to the communication terminal.
