Abstract

The invention discloses a BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) route processing method, a BGP route processing device and BGP equipment. The BGP route processing method comprises the steps that a BGP protocol module performs unique identification on a sent optimal route when sending the optimal route to a network interface driver; the network interface driver records identification information of the currently optimal route after successfully refreshed the optimal route sent by the BGP protocol module to network interface hardware, and executes judgment for a first signaling triggering condition; when the first signaling triggering condition is met, the network interface driver sends first signaling to the BGP protocol module, otherwise, the network interface drive does not send the first signaling, wherein the first signaling is used for announcing the identification information of the successfully refreshed optimal route; and the BGP protocol module announces the optimal route corresponding to the identification information of the successfully refreshed optimal route announced by the first signaling to the neighbor. The BGP route processing method can solve a problem of flow interruption transiently occurred in the flow switching process, and reduce the reverse notification driving frequency and the message length. Meanwhile, the BGP route processing method reduces the impact for the existing network as far as possible and completes flow switching as soon as possible.
