The method comprises the steps of using the CU to record first time at which each data packet arrives at a default protocol layer in a layer-2 at the side of the CU; enabling the CU to perform a first target event based on the first time of each data packet, wherein the first target event comprises: sending the first time of each packet to the DU; or calculating the layer-2 statistical magnitude based on the first time of each data packet; or calculating average delay of data packets at the side of the CU, and sending the average delay of the data packets at the side of the CU to the DU or operation, administration and maintenance (OAM), or calculating average delay of data packets of the layer-2 according to the average delay of the data packets at the side of the CU.
