The identity recognition method is applied to theserver and comprises the following steps: receiving an identity recognition request from the mobile terminal, wherein the identity recognition request carries a marker of the mobile terminal and a marker of an immobilized passive tag; the marker of the immobilized passive tag is acquired after the immobilized passive tag is scanned by using the mobile terminal; according to an identity information table, confirming the marker of the mobile terminal in the identity recognition request and an identity corresponding to the marker of the immobilized passive tag, wherein corresponding relationships of markers of mobile terminal, markers of immobilized passive tags, and identities of users of the mobile terminals confirmed according to the immobilized passive tags, are stored in the identity information table. Therefore, by adopting the scheme, identity recognition is achieved with low cost, low energy consumption, wide application range and reliable modes.
