Abstract

The image sensor comprises multiple pixel circuits and a control module, wherein the multiple pixel circuits are arranged in an array; the multiple pixel circuits are formed into a pixel array; each of the pixel circuits comprises a photosensitive element and a capacitor module, wherein the photosensitive elements are applied to generating charges when receiving illumination of light rays; the number of the charges is in direct proportion to illuminance of the light rays; capacitance values of the capacitor modules are adjustable; first ends of the capacitor modules are coupled to a voltage reference end, and second ends of the capacitor modules are directly or indirectly coupled to output ends of the photosensitive elements and output ends of the pixel circuits, thereby generating a pixel voltage according to the capacitance values and the charges; and the control module is applied to controlling the capacitor modules on an odd-numbered line and an even-numbered line in the pixel array to provide different capacitance values. By employing the technical scheme of the invention, while a wide dynamic range of the image sensor is implemented, the complexity of controlling a time sequence is simplified.
