Abstract

The invention discloses an information filtering method and apparatus and belongs to the technical filed of internet. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining dynamic information and obtaining credit information of a user account issuing the dynamic information, wherein the credit information is used for representing credit of the user account; and according to the credit information, detecting whether the dynamic information meets filtering conditions, and when the dynamic information meets the filtering conditions, filtering the dynamic information. According to the invention, theproblem of incomplete filtering of spam due to limited keywords during information filtering through keyword matching is solved. Since a user account with higher credit has a quite low probability ofissuing spam, yet a user account with lower credit has a quite high probability of issuing spam under normal conditions, the spam is filtered in a more complete manner by filtering the dynamic information issued by the user account according to the credit information of the user account.
