Abstract

The load balancing method comprises: upon receipt of a message having a target IP (internet protocol) address being a virtual service IP address, extracting message characteristics of the message based on preset characteristic extraction rules; judging whether the message hits a session entry based onthe message characteristics; if not, forwarding the message based on a preset load balancing algorithm, and adding a correspondence of the message characteristics to forwarding results to the sessionentry.
