The method comprises the following steps of: determining a plurality of business channels in a concurrent business channel group, and setting preset marks for the business channels, wherein the business channels with the preset marks are specially used for releasing available balances of other-bank checks so that sufficient resources are ensured to release the available balances of other-bank checks; in a process of executing a releasing task, judging whether idle target business channels exist in the business channels with the preset marks or not in real time; and if the judging result is positive, distributing a to-be-released task group for each target business channel according to minimumrecord numbers of to-be-released tasks and a concurrent task amount of each target business channel, so as to ensure that the to-be-released tasks in the to-be-released task group corresponding to each target business channel are processed at the same time. According to the method and device, concurrent execution of the business channels is realized, and resources of the business channels can becircularly utilized, so that the efficiency of releasing available balances of other-bank checks is improved.
