When height of the cigarette pile rises, a soft pressing piece is jacked. One end of a rigid pressing strip is jacked by the soft pressing piece, and the other end of the rigid pressing strip drives a rotating shaft to rotate. The rotating shaft rotates to drive an identification point to generate displacement. A displacement sensor obtains displacement quantity of the identification point, the higher the displacement quantity is, the higher the cigarette pile is. When the displacement quantity reaches the threshold value, the height of the cigarette pile reaches expectation, and then the bearing belt conveys the cigarette pile to complete transition transfer. Through gravity of the soft pressing piece, the cigarette pile can be compressed to reduce gaps. A detection mechanismdoes not directly conduct height measurement to the cigarette pile. In this way, gaps in the cigarette pile have little influence on measuring results, cigarette pile height measuring is accurate, andthe waste cigarette transition transfer effect is excellent.
