Abstract

The invention provides a data unloading method based on pricing in a heterogeneous wireless network. The whole network structure comprises a macro cellular data unloading decision center, a macro basestation deployed by a macro cellular network operator and a user terminal thereof, and a low power node deployed by other network operators and a user terminal thereof. A low power node transmits itsnetwork condition and associate terminal information to a macro cellular data offloading decision center, and simultaneously transmits capacity and price that it is willing to use for transmitting macro cellular data. The macro cellular base station transmits the network status and the related information of the associated terminals to the macro cellular data offloading decision center. The macrocellular data offloading decision center executes offloading decision and sends a decision instruction to the macro cellular base station. The macro cellular base station switches the data of the designated macro cellular user terminal to the designated low power node. The invention can effectively improve the throughput of the heterogeneous wireless network and reduce the data congestion.
