Abstract

The invention relates to a manhole cover assembly. The manhole cover assembly comprises a manhole cover base and a manhole cover, wherein the manhole cover base is fixed to an opening of a container to be closed, and the manhole cover is pivotally mounted on the manhole cover base for covering the opening. The manhole cover assembly further includes a safety device for slowing down the closing movement of the manhole cover, the safety device is directly disposed at a local position of the edge of the manhole cover and is disposed outside the manhole cover. In particular, the safety device is formed by at least one cylinder which connects the manhole cover base and the manhole cover in a hinged mode. The manhole cover assembly realizes good operation safety and greatly reduces human errorsat low cost. The manhole cover assembly is applied to the production of polyurethane composite materials, so that better and stable sealing effects of the manhole cover assembly and reactor are achieved, and the manhole cover assembly has very important effects on the performances such as density, emission, aging resistance, heat preservation, demoulding time of final polyurethane products.
