The method comprises the following steps: in response to adjustment of an end effector of the medical robot to a first calibration pose, acquiring a first end image containing the end effector; acquiring a second end image containing the end effector under the first calibration pose, wherein the second end image represents reference visual information in a robot calibration scene; determining a first image similarity according to the first end image and the second end image; and determining an accuracy detection result of end positioning of the medical robot according to the first image similarity. The embodiment solves the problem of feedback delay of traditional positioning detection methods, and improves the completion quality and operation safety of the medical robot in implementing a work task.
