Abstract

The method comprises the steps that a VNFM sends a resource authorization request message corresponding to avirtual resource application requirement to an NFVO and receives a resource authorization result message returned by the NFVO, and the resource authorization result message carries resource authorization information; and the VNFM sends a virtual resource configuration request message to the VIM, the virtual resource configuration request message carries resource authorization information, and theVIM verifies the resource authorization information and performs resource configuration operation according to a verification result. According to the method and system, accurate management of virtualresource configuration authorization operation can be realized; the VNFM needs to obtain the resource authorization information for accessing the VIM, it is guaranteed that each time of resource configuration needs to be authorized, the VIM needs to verify the resource capacity of each time of configuration operation, it is guaranteed that virtual resource configuration is safe and controllable,and the stability of the system and the user experience are improved.
