Abstract

The invention relates to an air conditioner indoor unit and a control method thereof. The air conditioner indoor unit comprises a machine shell, an air uniformizing device and a water washing device; an air supply outlet is formed in the front portion of the machine shell, a through channel is formed in the middle of the machine shell in the transverse direction, two heat exchange air supply units used for conveying heat exchange air flow to the air supply outlet are arranged in the machine shell, and the two heat exchange air supply units are located on the two transverse sides of the through channel correspondingly; the air uniformizing device is rotatably arranged in the through channel and used for supplying air to the air supply outlet; and the water washing device is used for humidifying airflow flowing through the water washing device, and the water washing device communicates with the exterior of the machine shell and the air uniformizing device so that the airflow outside the machine shell can be sent to the air uniformizing device. The control method comprises the steps that in a water washing mode, a control signal used for controlling the air uniformizing device to rotate is received; and the air uniformizing device is controlled to rotate in the corresponding direction according to information contained in the control signal. Therefore, local environments with different humidity and different temperature can be achieved in a same indoor space, and the purpose of partitioned air supply is achieved.
