Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-flow-direction watershed feature extraction method based on a hexagonal grid, and the method comprises the steps: firstly converting a regular grid DEM into a spherical hexagonal grid for representation according to a bilinear interpolation method, and carrying out the calculation of a vertex elevation and a central point elevation of the hexagonal grid; then connecting the vertexes and the center points in sequence, dividing each hexagonal grid into a triangle, calculating the elevation of the center point of each triangle, and determining the water flow direction according to the elevation difference between the triangle and the adjacent hexagonal grid; calculating the grid flow according to the elevation difference proportion of the adjacent hexagonal grid; and finally, traversing the grid, and tracking a drainage basin path. According to the method, a hexagonal grid is used as a basic grid, so that the problem of terrain expression imbalance caused by inconsistent distances of edge adjacent and corner adjacent grids in regular grid DEM-based drainage basin feature extraction is solved; the flow direction and the flow are determined by using the elevation difference proportion of the triangle and the adjacent hexagonal grid, and the problem that the original hexagonal single-flow-direction algorithm cannot truly describe the water flow characteristics is solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of watershed hydrological feature extraction, in particular to a multi-flow direction watershed feature extraction method based on a hexagonal grid. Background technique [0002] The extraction and analysis of watershed hydrological features is an important part of hydrology and water resources, and it provides important basic information for hydrological modeling, topography modeling, water and soil erosion assessment, and water resource management. The transfer path of horizontal confluence is usually expressed by hydrological elements such as flow direction, runoff node, runoff network and watershed boundary. Among them, the direction of water flow is the basis for the extraction of hydrological features of the watershed. [0003] With the improvement of DEM data acquisition ability, the hydrological feature extraction based on DEM has been widely studied. Among them, DEM based on regular grid has becom...
