Abstract

The invention provides a novel sow transferring method for segmented feeding, and belongs to the technical field of animal breeding. The sow transferring method comprises the following steps: step 1, estrus checking is conducted on sows to be bred in a breeding house, and the sows are bred after estrus; step 2, B-ultrasonic pregnancy identification is performed on the sows 20-30 days after breeding, and the sows are transferred to a pregnancy house for feeding after pregnancy is confirmed; step 3, after 75-85 days of pregnancy, whether the pregnant sows are nonpregnant or not is determined again, the pregnant sows are transferred to a heavy fetal house for feeding, and preparing to increase the fetus weight; and step 4, after 90 days of pregnancy, fetus weight increase is started till one week before parturition, and the sows are transferred to a delivery room for delivery. The sows are transferred twice in the pregnancy period, so that the average birth number of malformed fetuses, the average birth number of dead fetuses and the midwifery rate of the sow are obviously lower than those of the existing sow which is transferred once in the pregnancy period; and the breeding and delivery efficiency and the farrowing efficiency of the sows which are transferred twice in the pregnancy period are higher than those of the sows which are transferred once in the pregnancy period, and the farrowing process is smoother.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of animal breeding, and in particular relates to a novel method for transferring sows by segmental feeding. Background technique [0002] At present, the pig farms have not yet established standards for the transfer of pregnant sows, and there are many problems including the utilization of pregnant sow pens, farrowing, and work efficiency. It is necessary to optimize the transfer method to increase the litter size and improve production. efficiency. [0003] The flow management of pigs has a great impact on the production rhythm of pig farms and affects the feeding and management of pigs. It is the support for the health management of pigs and is of great significance to ensure production. The role of production safety; when an epidemic occurs, good pig flow management can help quickly resume production and reduce losses; pig flow management can also optimize the structure of the pig herd and help the pig f...
