The method comprises the steps that multiple sets of to-be-optimized hyper-parameters which are initialized in a recommendation system are acquired; obtaining an exploration account and a reference account obtained based on grouping of the system accounts; determining a current group of to-be-optimized hyper-parameters from multiple groups of to-be-optimized hyper-parameters; generating a first recommendation result according to a current parameter value corresponding to the current group of to-be-optimized hyper-parameters, and obtaining first recommendation index data of the exploration account; generating a second recommendation result according to a preset baseline parameter, and obtaining second recommendation index data of the reference account; according to the first recommendation index data and the second recommendation index data, updating the current parameter value until a preset updating ending condition is met; wherein in each round of parameter updating process, other groups of to-be-optimized hyper-parameters, except the current group of to-be-optimized hyper-parameters, in the multiple groups of to-be-optimized hyper-parameters are fixed.
