Abstract

The invention provides a communication method for a train passing through a pipeline and related equipment. The method is based on laser communication, and when a train is outside a pipeline, a terminal user communicates with a base station outside the pipeline; when the train drives into the pipeline, if the power intensity of the first communication signal of the base station outside the pipeline is smaller than a preset first threshold value, switching the communication object to an optical base station with the strongest power intensity of the communication signal in the pipeline; when the power intensity of a second communication signal between the terminal user and the optical base station is smaller than a preset second threshold value due to the fact that the train travels away from the optical base station, the base station is switched to the optical base station with the higher power intensity of the communication signal, and therefore the optical base stations can be continuously switched in the traveling process in a train pipeline; communication support can be provided for the terminal user of the train all the time.
