Problems solved by technology

Traditional FTP requires that the files downloaded by the FTP client must be located in the local storage device of the FTP server or the storage device in the domain where the server is located. All data flows must pass through the server and then be forwarded to the FTP client. The FTP server itself has limited network egress bandwidth. Severely limits FTP performance and cannot fully utilize the advantages of distributed storage
We have also noticed the invention of Chinese Patent No. 02134670.4, named "Distributed File Synchronization System and Method", but the invention still has the following problems: (1) repeated storage, wasting limited computer storage devices; (2) the implementation is too complicated , low efficiency; (3) still limited by the export network bandwidth of the FTP server, the advantages of distributed storage cannot be fully utilized; (4) the cost of dynamically adding a new storage system is huge, and resource waste is serious; (5) only realize the FTP Distributed synchronization of file storage does not implement distributed applications for FTP operations and transfers

Embodiment Construction

[0014] First, referring to Figure 1, the FTP server software is designed as two independent modules, the command processing service module and the file transfer service module. These two parts are completely independent and can run on different operating systems of different computers or on the same On a computer, the two parts are connected through an IP network (it can be TCP or UDP, the solid line connection 2 in Figure 1), and communicate through pre-specified command and parameter formats and sequences. The FTP client among them in Fig. 1, instruction analysis service, file transmission service can be respectively located on 3 computers, also can be located on the same computer, FTP client adopts TCP to connect to the computer where instruction analysis service module is located according to FTP standard (Fig. 1 The solid line connection 1) in , and the dotted line connection 3 between the FTP client and the command analysis service represent the FTP data link connection (...

Abstract

Key point of the invention is to decompose FTP service into two modules: instruction parsing service (ISP) and file transmission service (FTS), which can be run at different operation systems in different computer independently. Through IP network, the two parts are linked dynamically. ISP maintains a specific structure of directory file to map local structure of directory file of each FTS. All operations for file and directory are carried out by redirecting to the structure. Only when FTP client end sends out instruction of file transmission, module of ISP sends instructions and parameters to module of FTS, where file is actually located, and tracks result. The module of FTS, where file is actually located, and client end of FTP carries out data transmission link accorded with FTP standard directly, and carry out transmission of file so as to implement point-to-point connection. Through predefined format, FTS sends result to ISP, and then ISP sends result to FTP client end.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The invention belongs to the application field of Internet standard file transfer protocol, and in particular relates to a distributed file transfer method based on Internet standard. technical background: [0002] FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a standard file transfer protocol (RFC959, RFC1123, etc.), used to transfer files between two computers. The FTP protocol uses two TCP connections, one is a command link, which is used to transfer commands between the FTP client and server; the other is a data link, which is used to upload or download data. Traditional FTP requires that the files downloaded by the FTP client must be located in the local storage device of the FTP server or the storage device in the domain where the server is located. All data flows must pass through the server and then be forwarded to the FTP client. The FTP server itself has limited network egress bandwidth. Severely limits FTP performance and cannot fully utilize the advant...
