This disclosure relates to trouser-type absorbent articles (1), such as trouser diapers, sanitary pants, or
incontinence pants. The absorbent article (1) has a central longitudinal axis (CL), wherein the longitudinal direction (L) is defined as a direction parallel to the central longitudinal axis (CL) and the transverse direction (T) is defined as a direction perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis (CL). The absorbent article (1) includes: a
front panel (10) having a
front panel waist edge (11), a pair of
front panel leg edges (12, 13), and a pair of front panel side edges (14, 15); a back panel (20) having a back panel
waist edge (21), a pair of back panel leg edges (22, 23), a pair of back panel side edges (24, 25), a main portion (26), and a buttock cover (27), the pair of back panel side edges (24, 25) and the pair of front panel side edges (14, 15) The side seams (16) of the absorbent article (1) are fastened together to form a main part (26) between the side edges (24, 25) of the back panel as viewed in the transverse direction (T), and the hip cover (27) between the main part (26) and the leg edges (22, 23) of the back panel as viewed in the longitudinal direction (L); and an absorbent insert (30) positioned in the longitudinal direction (L) between the front panel (10) and the back panel (20) so as to partially overlap with and be connected to the front panel (10) and the back panel (20), the absorbent insert (30) having a first longitudinal side edge (31) and a second longitudinal side edge (32) extending in the longitudinal direction (L). The back panel (20) has a set of elastic lines, which include: a set of body elastic lines (201) attached to the main part (26) and extending parallel to each other in the lateral direction (T); a set of hip elastic lines (202) attached to the hip cover (27) and extending parallel to each other in the lateral direction (T); a set of shaping elastic lines (203) attached to the hip cover (27) and extending further away from the
waist edge (21) of the back panel than the set of hip elastic lines (202) and extending parallel to each other in the lateral direction (T); and a set of leg elastic lines (204) extending along the leg edges (22, 23) of the back panel and extending parallel to each other along the leg edges (22, 23) of the back panel. The longitudinal (L) distance (D5) between the group of hip elastic lines (202) and the group of shaping elastic lines (203) is greater than the distance between two adjacent shaping elastic lines (D3), the distance between two adjacent hip elastic lines (D2) is greater than the distance between two adjacent shaping elastic lines (D3), and the distance between two adjacent shaping elastic lines (D3) is greater than the distance between two adjacent leg elastic lines (D4).
