Computer implemented methods for interactively modifying a video image are provided. The video image can be transmitted between a first user and a second user using a computer program that is executed on at least one computer in a computer network. Additionally, the first user and the second user interact through respective computing systems that at least partially execute the computer program. A video capture system is provided that is interfaced with the computer program that can be used to capture real-time video of the first user. The method continues by identifying components of the video image of the first user that can be modified using real-time effects in the captured real-time video. In another operation, the method identifies controller input from either the first user or the second user. The controller input detected by the computing system is identified to determine which of the identified components of the first user will be modified. In response to the identified controller input, another operation of the method augments the real-time video captured of the first user by applying the real-time effects to the identified components of the first user. The method then displays the augmented real-time video of the first user on a screen connected to the computing system of one or both of the first and second users.

InactiveCN101778257AImprove understandingMeet the needs of on-demand applicationsTwo-way working systemsDigital videoSocial benefits
The invention relates to a generation method of video abstract fragments for digital video on demand; a plurality of lenses in different time periods are randomly intercepted according to a set rule based on a complete video and sequentially spliced into the long video fragments about the contents of the whole video; that is to say, based on the lenses, the same camera is used to continuously shoot a section of video contents in the video; the contents of each lens form a whole, so as to respectively select the plurality of the lenses in the video from different time points, and sequentially splice the lenses, realize the organic link of the video abstract fragment contents, embody the overall contents of the video, and prevent the disorder of the contents. A user can preview the basic contents and the picture quality of the video by appreciating the video abstract fragments, determine if the user is interested in the video, so as to decide if to play the video on demand. The generation method of the video abstract fragments for digital video on demand can improve the time effect and the economy for the user to appreciate the video, so that a video content provider can also improve the audience rating, so as to improve the economic benefit and the social benefit and achieve win-win.
