Abstract

Being applicable to switching from 2G system to 3G system the method establishes parameter information set of switching fault between systems, and sets up reporting parameter items of switching fault between systems in the information set. When carrying out switching between systems, the method executes following steps: (1) monitoring switching procedure between systems, and receiving fault information sent by system when switching is in failure; (2) based on fault cause pointed out by fault signal to query parameter item required to report in information set of switching fault; (3) based on the said parameter item to obtain corresponding parameter value from system, and to write the value to message of reporting fault; (4) sending the message of reporting fault to network management center. The invention can obtain specific cause so as to guide optimization of network.
