Abstract

The invention discloses a method for naming and analyzing a subnet point pool in an automatically switched optical network, which relates to a naming and analysis method for transmission network resources. The invention can dynamically adapt to variation of the routing domain in order to realize that analysis of an SNPP, thus meeting requirements for actual operation of the network. The method includes the following steps: (1) an alias name of the subnet point pool is deduced from a genuine name of the subnet point pool and a relation chain between the genuine name of the subnet point pool and the alias name of the subnet point pool is established; (2) mapping of the alias name of the subnet point pool to the genuine name of the subnet point pool is established; and (3) mapping relationship between the alias name of the subnet point pool and a physical transmission resource is established. Starting with evolution of a routing domain, the invention obtains relationship among the routing domains over different layers and domains, educes the SNPP naming educing relation chain among the nodes in different routing domains and proposes an SNPP naming and analysis scheme, thus effectively solving a problem that the same node in different routing domains is subject to multiple names.
