Abstract

A self-control heating and cooling water mattress comprises a temperature control system which consists of liquid filling pads, a heat exchanger, a throttling device, a compressor and a controller. An upper liquid filling mattress and a lower liquid filling mattress are arranged in a mattress frame and are both filled with water or other liquid; and an insulation layer is arranged between the upper liquid filling mattress and the lower liquid filling mattress; an upper heat exchanger is arranged inside the upper liquid filling mattress and a lower heat exchanger is arranged inside the lower liquid filling mattress. When the upper liquid filling mattress is used as a cool mattress, the upper heat exchanger functions to be an evaporator and the lower heat exchanger as a condenser; the heat from human body is then absorbed by the upper liquid filling mattress and dissipated through the lower liquid filling mattress. If the upper liquid filling mattress is used as a warm mattress, the upper heat exchanger is changed into the condenser and the lower heat exchanger into the evaporator; the heat in the lower liquid filling mattress is absorbed by the lower heat exchanger and dissipated through the upper heat exchanger. People then feel warm by absorbing the heat from the upper liquid filling mattress.
